The six workshops are designed around a 10 Steps® framework for personal development that provides a route map for participants and has been created by Pat Graham. Each workshop has a clear content focus around the following themes;

- Taking Charge of Your Future
- Getting Fit For Life
- Overcoming Obstacles
- Reaching New Heights with Others
- Celebrating Success Together
Content includes a broad spectrum of Personal Development subjects and issues including self awareness, handling feedback, thinking assertively, emotional intelligence, managing.
Workshops are scheduled to give participants two weeks in between for self study assignments that include a 360º feedback exercise: Questionnaires: reading: goal setting actions: networking support. The training delivery is spread over a 3 month period to meet the diverse learning needs of delegates.
Home Study and Learning Support
All participants are expected to commit to home study between workshops of up to 3 hours completing assignments and trying out new skills and techniques for making changes. The workbook contains learning type logs to encourage reflection on learning outcomes. Self Study assignments include 360º awareness exercises, practising situations that require;
- behaviour and attitude change
- producing a life map highlighting challenges and experiences
- participating in a life/work balance review
- commiting to an action plan to improve health and fitness
Participants frequently report that sharing the 10 Steps® programme with partners is highly beneficial. Continuous learning support is available from 10 Steps® facilitators for One to One coaching and to assist participants who may be stuggling with the content or who may have different learning needs.
Email communication and video links are also in place with all delegates and direct communication is encouraged about any aspects of the programme that may be impacting on their ability to benefit from the learning experience. |
